Pickleball in Blaine, Minnesota
Blaine pairs lighted city courts with a full indoor program. Lexington Athletic Complex is the main outdoor hub, with four dedicated courts open later than other city locations. Score Hub Blaine provides year round court reservations, skill matched open play, leagues, and weekly tournament play.
Where to Play Pickleball in Blaine
- Lexington Athletic Complex: Four dedicated outdoor pickleball courts have lights and remain open daily from dawn to 10:30 PM. The complex also has parking, restrooms, concessions, a covered patio, and trails. Morning players use this site as a regular social hub, while posted league and program schedules can reserve court time. Lexington Athletic Complex details

- Neighborhood city courts: Hidden Ponds, Aurelia, Carrara East, Austin, and Centennial Green parks also provide outdoor pickleball. These smaller sites suit nearby residents and groups that already have partners. City courts outside Lexington close at 9 PM.
Getting Started
Blaine routes city pickleball programs through its adult sports registration system and the North Star Pickleball Association. Score Hub offers programs for beginner through advanced players, and a private court reservation gives a new player space to practice with an instructor or a small group.
For individual instruction, use the Coaches section. Once a player knows scoring and court position, Score Hub open play provides skill matched games, while Lexington works well for outdoor practice with partners.
Open Play and Events
Score Hub open play is organized by skill level and does not require a partner or private court reservation. Its leagues combine weekly matches with season ending events. Crazy 8 is the facility's recurring tournament format, giving each participant eight games in one session with standings and prizes.
Outdoor league, program, and tournament registration is managed through Blaine Parks and Recreation and North Star Pickleball Association. Lexington is the primary city venue, and its lighted 10:30 PM closing time supports evening competition. Blaine pickleball programs
Visiting Blaine
A solo visitor has the easiest route into games at Score Hub, where open play matches players by skill level and runs separately from private court reservations. The daily 7 AM to 11 PM facility hours also make it the dependable choice in winter or poor weather.
Visitors with partners can use Lexington from dawn to 10:30 PM and benefit from lights, restrooms, and ample parking. The smaller neighborhood courts are useful for a casual game closer to a specific part of town, but they close at 9 PM and do not publish the same organized player route.
